• Old Telegraph Track

We took our 30 year old Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, A Staffy and a Chihuahua up through the Tele track and onto the Tip.

Like anywhere you have to be considerate to others and clean up after your pets. Because the Tele track was not crowded with people we could let the dogs have bit more freedom. When we got to the the Tip that is a leash area. Miss Woody sat on my camera bag when we walked up. All in all the pets had a fat time running and playing in the water.

TIP Be mindful wherever you go watch for 1080 baits.

  • Woodgate Beach

Very Pet Friendly place. Dogs are allowed on the beach. However there are certain sections where they can play off the leash.

The Southern end of the beach where you can go 4wding on the beach, makes for a great day out when the tides are right.

The Northern end up at Theodolite Creek. If you walk the beach then keep the lead on 350m past the boat ramp after the small allotment of houses.

There are poo bags supplied by Council along the Esplanade so keep those handy

  • Mudjimba Beach

Another favourite beach of mine when it comes to dog friendly. Situated between Maroochydore and Noosa on the Sunshine Coast. This is a beautiful pet friendly beach with a leash free area near the mouth of the Maroochy river. The Mudjimba Beach caravan park is also pet friendly and only a short walk to this magnificent beach.
