The Old Telegraph Track is one of the most iconic 4wd tracks in Australia.

Its not a long track but it is challenging in some areas and especially when it is wet. There are so many beautiful areas to camp with awesome creek frontage. Between the months of April - August is the most popular times and the track can become very busy. This is because of the climate and not too hot and out of the wet season. Both times we did the track we did it in October/November just prior to wet season. It was a bit hotter and the creeks were not as deep but the advantage was there were no crowds.

So if you get the chance to do this brilliant track do your research and get your 4wd organised so you can have a fun time. Always good to go with some mates so if you get stuck you can help each other.
