12 Months on the Road

Wow!!! can you believe it? we have been on the road now for 12 months 23/10/2022

We headed off from Blackwater QLD and went North to do the Old Tele Track and the Most Northern Point of Australia, Cape York. Rippa couple of weeks, no crowds wasn’t that hot and we had some awesome swimming holes and creeks to soak in. If you haven’t done the Tele track yet put it on your bucket list, check out our Youtube channel for the video.

Then it was done the East Coast to visit the Most Eastern Point of Australia, Byron Bay. Beautiful coastal town with the lighthouse at the Point, no pets allowed here though. We didn’t do a lot of exploring through New South Wales of Victoria because our main aim was to go across to Tasmania for as long as it takes to see what we wanted and could see with pets in tow. We did stop along the way to a few spots, mostly free stays, video on Youtube for NSW and VIC and I did manage to get in a dive at Flinders Pier to say G’day to the Weedy Sea Dragons there, that was cool.

Tasmania is amazing and I couldn’t believe how accomodating they are for Pets. We free stayed a lot and there are lots of walks and things to do when you have pets, just can’t go to national parks or boat trips. The few times we did go on an adventure like this we accommodated for our fur and feather babies, they were happy. We walked around Port Arthur with the Fids (Fur and Feather Kids) and took turns to look after them while the other did the museum or the 20min boat tour. So much to do and see and so many winding roads, so when you organise a trip down here try to make it for more than a couple of weeks if you can.

Anyways here is a short little video of photos from our last 12 months on the road, hope you enjoy it and I can’t wait for the next 12 months. Say G’day if you see us on the road, love a chat and a beer, Cheers
